The summer is gone - but the music keeps playing

Autumn is here and so are our last two open-air events for this year.

Vegetables and disco don't belong together?  

They do for us! Tomorrow, Saturday 2.10.2021 from 3pm, Leisnig's first "Veggie-Chopping-Disco" is taking place!

One third of all food ends up in the rubbish. Join us in taking a stand against this waste of food and chop vegetables with us to save them from the bin. We will get vegetables from the Gadewitz estate and the Schertenleib asparagus farm. Pack your knives and boards and cook a vegetable stew and dessert with us. 

The whole thing will be accompanied by the Bahnhofsband and Leipzig's ultimate party band "Extraviolette". https://extraviolette.de/

The music takes you on a time-out for the worries and a workout for the inner light. Inspired by the spirit and energy of 1970s discoera, Extraviolette brings an infectious show to the stage dominated by pulsating beats, driving bass lines and brass that cuts to the chase.

The licence to chop and dance costs 6.50 Euros per person. Your contribution supports: Bahnhof Leisnig, Rotary Döbeln-Mittelsachsen to be forwarded to "flood victims" and a Doman - therapy for Josefine. The event will take place under the current Covid 19 regulations.

The SingBus is coming to Leisnig!

Join us Tuesday, October 5th starting at 2:30pm for a great afternoon for young and old, with music and workshops to try out, experiment and much more. Participation is free and no registration is required! Just come along and join in! The SingBus is part of the Kinderchorland programme.  It is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and is part of the funding programme "MusikVorOrt" of the Federal Music Association Choir & Orchestra.

Incredible but true!!

Three weeks ago today, we started our crowdfunding campaign and have already reached more than half of our goal. Many, many thanks to everyone who is supporting us!
