Welcome to the Kulturbahnhof Leisnig in Saxony, a versatile venue in the idyllic Mulde Valley, not far from Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz.
Im Juli 2020 haben wir, eine kleine Gruppe Freunde, vereint durch unsere Leidenschaft für traditionelle Musik, den ehemals brachliegenden Bahnhof Leisnig gekauft um ihn zu sanieren und einen Ort zu schaffen, wo Musiker aus aller Welt sich kennenlernen und wohlfühlen können. Schon seit dem ersten Sommer organisieren wir über den Kulturbahnhof Leisnig e.V. Konzerte, Musik- und Tanzworkshops, Kulturmärkte und Vieles mehr.

The historic train station provides the perfect backdrop for private celebrations and business events such as conferences, seminars and team building.
Music is a universal language
From the very beginning, our dream was to create a place where musicians from different countries could come together to share their music.
We offer high-quality cultural events as well as music and dance workshops with well-known artists and lecturers from all over the world.
Through music lessons, workshops and events, we offer musicians and music enthusiasts, whether beginners or professional musicians, a platform and the opportunity to develop their potential.
The station garden | The station bar
In the warmer months, our beer garden offers something tasty for every taste, from vegan falafel plates to station burgers. The bar/café also offers everything your heart desires, from espresso to cocktails.
The station provides a framework for local businesses to offer products and services and creates jobs. The project is sustainably integrated into the local community and beyond and brings added value to the region. The cultural center also creates a space for local cultural initiatives and creative artists in the region.
We need your support
The contribution that art and culture make to the community is becoming ever more important in times of increasing digitalization and isolation. An environment characterized by appreciation, openness and trust is the fertile ground in which art, creativity and inspiration can grow. This is exactly what the Kulturbahnhof Leisnig is.

WED 01.05 | from 11:00 | LEISNIG BLOSSOM FESTIVAL & OPENING OF THE BAHNHOFSGARTEN
The Bahnhofsgarten officially opens its season as part of the Leisnig Blossom Festival! With delicious food and performances by a wide variety of dance and music groups from Leisnig and beyond, the day will be a very special experience. Be there and enjoy the start of this year's music summer from 11 a.m. in the Bahnhofsgarten.
