The beer garden is open again
Dear friends of Bahnhof Leisnig,
What a start, what a celebration. We opened our music summer and the season in the station garden with a brilliant start to the season at the Leisnig Blossom Festival. We were overwhelmed by the crowds of people who came to enjoy the blossom festival and take a look at the new station garden. Also the next day, 1 May, the concert of the Big Band Messengers from Leipzig was well attended. See for yourself, as pictures say more than 1000 words.

The Phoenix Dance Festival

This week the Phoenix Festival - a cooperation of Kulturbahnhof Leisnig e.V. and Tanzhaus*Folk e.V. Leipzig - will take place at the station. The workshops in in the station building are already sold out, but in the beer garden there are still daily public dance workshops, concerts and dance balls, these are open to everyone. If you want to dance, then by all means drop by! We look forward to seeing you.
Folk has many melodies and faces. But one thing is clear: nobody likes to sit still. On Ascension Day weekend, the station will open its doors to Bal Folk. This is a dance style made up of many different traditional Western European dances that were revived with the folk revival in the 1960s and have been evolving ever since.
Song workshop with Bastian Bandt

The workshop with Bastian Bandt is an exercise for all those who have already ventured into song making and song writing and want to perform and try out their songs in a protected atmosphere and continue to work on them "supervised".
Whether songs on the piano, songs on the guitar or also and gladly pure poems that are still looking for their music. Open to genres, themes and values, the Liedwerkstatt creates a space in which creativity, artistic expression, musicality and deep immersion in language and its possibilities are practised.
