The (big) Bahnhof Orchestra

We bought the station in 2020. It was in a desolate state and we first had to clear out the whole building, clean it and putty the windows. At the time, we invited our large international network of musicians to help us. So that the work didn't get too boring, we spontaneously formed an orchestra. Rehearsals always took place during work breaks. In the evenings, we invited people from Leisnig to join us with their instruments or in the choir. Every year in September, 30-40 musicians from all over the world meet at the railway station and teach each other songs from their home countries. For the selection it is important to us that as many different instruments as possible are represented and that everyone can attend all rehearsals and the concert.

Mitmachen beim großen Bahnhofsorchester (Abendproben)

An alle aus Leisnig und der Region, die bei den täglichen Abendproben dabei sein möchten, folgt uns auf Facebook oder Instagram oder schaut immer wieder hier vorbei. Ab Juli 2025 könnt ihr euch über einem Link für das 6. Bahnhofsorchester anmelden.

Die Proben finden in der ersten Septemberwoche statt und das Konzert am 6. September 2025. Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme im Orchester ist, dass ihr zu allen Proben und zum Konzert anwesend seid. 

Teilnahme für ALLE unabhängig von musikalischen Vorkenntnissen. Die Teilnehmerzahl ist auf ca. 30 Personen beschränkt.
