#27 End of the Ice Age

Renovation progress, and the bar is open

Dear friends of the Bahnhof,

You haven't heard from us for a while, but don't worry: "No news is good news", as the saying goes. We are in the middle of construction work to get the interior of the station ready for the Christmas season. We are very pleased that we have received so many requests for parties and festivities at the station. The heating and new toilets are currently being installed. We can hardly believe that the great ice age in the station will soon be over.

The Bahnhof Bar

We've been running the Bahnhofsbar since mid-October. Who would have thought that it would be so cosy - we from the team would like to spend all our time there reading books, working on our laptops or making music. Anyone who would like to drop by: The Bahnhofsbar is open every weekend. There are always smaller concerts and jam sessions! We look forward to your visit!

Friday and Saturday 4 - 9 pm, Sunday 11 am - 8 pm

Events this December

Fri 1 December at 7 pm | Stellmäcke - " Hinterm Mond"

Stellmäcke comes from "Behind the Moon" and brings songs (in German), news and stories from near-Earth orbit: topical, timeless, funny and melancholy at the same time.
Stellmäcke is many things: musician, cabaret artist, actor and poet. His concerts are aural cinema with pointed wit and astonishing ideas. With a touching voice, absurd stories and wordplay, he sings about the state of the world from a constantly surprising perspective. He accompanies himself with a polyphonic orchestra of 9 instruments: Concertinas, guitars, guitalelas, harmonicas and percussion.

Sun. 17 December from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. | Christmas market at the station

We are taking part in the Living Christmas Calendar again this year - this time with a small Christmas market with artisans, food and music.
At 6.30pm there will be Advent music to sing along to with the Bahnhofsband.

We look forward to seeing you again at our events!

Best wishes,
The Bahnhof Team

P.S. Here is a video of our legendary station orchestra from last summer with the song "Nine Pound Hammer."
