Final preparations for the beer garden season

Dear friends of Bahnhof Leisnig,

The time has finally come - the long, hard winter is over and spring is here. The first flowers are blooming in the garden and the good mood is rising. There was no hibernation at the Kulturbahnhof, but a big winter building site. All the plans we have been talking about since the beginning of the project are now being implemented and the building is changing at a rapid pace. It is incredibly inspiring to see how all the ideas that were previously only on paper are now manifesting themselves and becoming visible.

This is what happened on the construction site:

• Walls and floors in the interior rooms were demolished
• New pipes for the sanitary facilities were laid
• The roof was partially renovated
• Roof windows were installed
• The façade was further renovated
• The beer garden has been redesigned from the bottom up

Our "little hobby project
Anyone who passed by the station between November and February saw a big hole in the ground where the garden once was. There was much speculation about what should be done there. The thoughts went from an underground car park to a swimming pool. For a few days now, it has been obvious to everyone what has been created there. See for yourself
